The CirQus is in town
CirQus first started as a physical location in a firehouse on St Dominique, where we spent our first 2 years. We have since expanded and rent at a variety of other locations in town. While we offer classes in a variety of circus disciplines, such as trapeze, hammock, corde lisse, lyra, we specialize in aerial silks. What makes us different from others? The quality of teaching is impeccable and all classes are customized to meet peoples needs, desires and fitness levels. We are also the only business to offer aerials as a tourist activity, giving foreigners the chance to have a hands-on “cirque-du-soleil” experience in Montreal, recognized as the circus capital of the world.

A bit about me ….
After graduating in Leisure Sciences at Concordia University, I moved to Australia and attended NICA, the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne Australia, specializing in Aerial Silks. in 2008, I came back to Montreal and founded Studio CirQus, one of the first facilities offering aerial arts as an alternative fitness and recreational activity in town. I am proud to say that I have since accumulated 15 productive years of experience in teaching aerial silks and love teaching with my whole heart .
I am also the coordinator of a social circus project called Le Petit Cirque Sablon, offering free circus classes to over 200 children every week. Also, I have a twin sister who is also a circus freak, she runs a residency programs in Costa Rica teaching people how to live alternatively by training in circus by meditating and by engaging in self-sustainable practices She’s a hero of life.
